NCSD Membership

Become a Member of NCSD!


NCSD membership is open to individuals and organizations in the field of sexual and reproductive health.  Being a member of NCSD gives you access to Coalition communications such as STD related advocacy and policy updates, news from the Division of STD Prevention at CDC and other important information in the field.  As a member of NCSD you will also have access to the Members Only section of the website.

NCSD Membership Categories:


Full Membership shall be limited to the public employee or official, or designee, primarily responsible for actively directing the STD prevention effort at the state, local and territorial project areas directly funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  A Full Member may attend all open meetings, hold office, elect officers, and serve on standing or special committees.  Each project area shall be entitled to only one vote in official decisions or business of the Coalition.   

Associate Membership shall be open to any person from any STD program, or any person within a full member’s jurisdiction who is a provider of STD clinical services or whose work primarily is involved with STD control activities, such as education, policy and advocacy, research, or administration of STD-related programs.  Associate Members shall enjoy the rights and privileges of full members to attend all open meetings and serve on standing or special committees. 

Affiliate Partner Membership shall be open to any STD-related organization or agency that may be nominated by a full member of the Coalition and approved by the Board.
