North Carolina State Team Representatives
As part of our heightened national leadership in STD prevention and sexual health and our growing investments in state policy work, the National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD) hosted a meeting to further the development of state sexual health plans. Held on February 20-21 in Washington DC, the Advancing Sexual Health through State Sexual Health Plans Meeting was a first of its kind, bringing together approximately 50 key sexual health stakeholders from selected state and national partners.
This meeting supported participants to coordinate and maximize resources in their jurisdictions, provide guidance about key elements and partnerships that constitute effective plans, foster relationships between states experienced in or interested in creating state-wide sexual health plans, and connect state efforts to investments at the national level.
A complete agenda, a participant list, a primer about the meeting and all presentations are provided below. For questions or additional information, please contact NCSD's Manager, Policy and Communications, Stephanie Arnold Pang at sarnold@ncsddc.org or 202-715-3865.
