For the sixth consecutive year, NCSD and NACCHO are pleased to offer several full scholarships for DIS to attend NCSD’s Annual Meeting, STD Engage. This year the meeting will be held virtually on December 1-4, 2020. STD Engage provides an important opportunity for DIS to build expertise in STD prevention and control within a broader sexual health approach. The meeting agenda includes DIS Skills Building Workshops and several breakout sessions focused on DIS work.

Scholarships will cover conference registration. If STD Engage ends up going virtual this year, scholarships will cover registration. Eligible applicants are those who have never attended NCSD’s Annual Meeting.

To apply, please complete this application no later than Friday, July 10 at 11:59 ET.

All applicants are asked to submit a piece (e.g., poem, song, drawing, dance, video, etc.) that illustrates what keeps you motivated as a DIS. Follow the instructions toward the end of the application for more information.

If you are chosen as a scholarship winner, you will be required to attend the DIS pre- and post-meeting workshops at STD Engage and write a blog post, which will be placed in NCSD’s and NACCHO’s newsletters and on other communication platforms.
