STDs are at an all time high and a worrisome trend in congenital syphilis continues. Let's get the nation talking about STDs!
Today, CDC released the 2017 STD Surveillance Report highlighting the historic levels of STDs and resurgent congenital syphilis across the nation. NCSD released a press release calling for more support for STD prevention. We need your health department/std program/organization’s help to spread the word about these worrisome trends. It is more important than ever to shine a light on these epidemics!
Below are some resources you can use to spread the word.
These posts are meant to complement and leverage an official statement that provides context, including factors contributing to STDs and health department efforts to address them. (For all options, jurisdictions that want to highlight a specific disease rather than all STDs can just replace “STDs” w specific disease name.)
