This is an audio and video recording of NCSD It’s Your Call webinar series conducted on February 17^th2016 titled: Rapid Syphilis Testing in STD Programs: Challenges and Opportunities.

Charlie Rabins, a technical assistance consultant with NCSD, facilitated our discussion on Rapid Syphilis Testing (RST): Challenges and Opportunities.  Speakers from NCSD, and STD Programs in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia discussed the challenges and opportunities they have had in implementing and conducting rapid syphilis testing in high risk populations.  Tips and strategies for effective rapid syphilis testing were also discussed.  Participants were encouraged to ask questions and share their thoughts on:

• Which populations and venues should I target for RST usage?
• What are the programmatic costs involved?
• Are there available protocols, plans, and tools that I can use and adapt for my program?
• How can NCSD support you?
