NOMINATE AN STD ALLY TO ATTEND NCSD ENGAGE 2017!

At NCSD, we recognize the importance of partnership on both the national and local levels. Nominate an STD Ally for a scholarship to NCSD Engage 2017.

Reminder, nomination period closes October 6, 2017!

At NCSD, we recognize the importance of partnership on both the national and local levels. In celebration of NCSD Engage 2017, the annual meeting of NCSD, this year’s meeting theme, Building Alliances, Breaking Barriers, and to acknowledge the powerful role that our partners play in STD programs, NCSD is pleased to offer five full scholarships for “STD Allies” to join us in the Washington, DC Capital Area on November 14th – 17th.

Scholarships will cover conference registration, lodging, travel, and per diem expenses. Please consider nominating a partner to attend the meeting as an STD Ally. Nominees may include (but are not limited to):

  • State Medicaid Program
  • HIV
  • Family Planning
  • Mental Health
  • Substance Use/Tobacco
  • Maternal/Child Health
  • Community-Based Organizations
  • Federally Qualified Health Centers
  • Legislative Liaisons
  • University/Academic fields
Eligible partners must be:
  • An active champion of STD prevention programs
  • Available to travel to DC on November 14-17
  • Willing to participate in follow-up activities with NCSD staff

NCSD staff will review nominations based on creativity, uniqueness of the partnership, and geographic diversity.

To nominate an STD ally, please complete this brief application no later than Friday, October 6th.  Please limit to one nominee per project area.
