Description

CDC recently awarded $117 million to state and local health departments as part of the federal Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. (EHE) initiative, which funds 57 priority areas to expand and tailor key HIV prevention strategies to community needs. These awards include a total of $11.1 million to scale up quality HIV prevention services in STD specialty clinics (Component C recipients).

Fast track services can increase the clinical capacity of STD clinics and help support access to testing. Participants hear from our colleagues at the Jefferson County Health Department in Alabama, a Component C recipient, on how to develop, implement, and improve these types of services in your sexual health clinic to support ending the HIV epidemic.
