In partnership with Hologic, NCSD is pleased to continue a three-part webinar series highlighting gaps in sexual health practices and testing needs for diverse populations.
Join us on Thursday, June 20th at 1:00 pm EST for the second webinar in the series titled “A Comprehensive Approach to Vaginitis: Understanding Co-Infections and the Importance of Accurate NAAT testing”. This webinar will highlight an overview of vaginitis, prevalence in the U.S., clinical manifestations, case studies, co-infections with other STIs, and the importance of accurate NAAT testing. Featuring Dr. Jane Schwebke, a Professor Emeritus in the Division of Infectious Diseases at University of Alabama at Birmingham who has spent 30 years concentrating her research on vaginitis, especially trichomoniasis and bacterial vaginosis; and featuring Dr. Kyle Bukowski, a double board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and the Medical Director of Women’s Health Diagnostic Solutions at Hologic, Inc.
