Over the last decade, rates of STI diagnosis have been climbing, revealing disparities across age groups and racial/ethnic backgrounds. Although trends in sexual behaviors with opposite-sex partners have shown stability since 2000, there’s more to uncover. Our aim was to unravel the national temporal trends in sexual behaviors with opposite-sex partners, dissect sexual network attributes, and examine self-reported STI outcomes from 2008-2019; to grasp how changes in STI testing, condom use, and coital frequency influence STI diagnosis rates. Join NCSD and Coalition for Applied Modeling for Prevention (CAMP) for a webinar event where we’ll navigate through these trends and deepen your understanding of their implications.
We’ll hear from Drs. David Katz and Deven Hamilton at the University of Washington, and Dr. Matthew Hogben of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention – you’ll be able to participate in an open discussion with these panelists, so have your questions ready!
