The National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD) is proud to partner with CUE Health to provide Mpox Starter Kits (Cue Health Monitoring System and Mpox tests) and to raise awareness about the importance of STD testing. Together, we aim to reduce the prevalence of sexually transmitted infections and improve overall public health outcomes. Further, Cue’s Reader is designed to be forward-compatible with future tests that use Cue Test Cartridges and are able to run Cue’s upcoming sexual health tests for Gonorrhea/Chlamydia as well as Mpox/herpes, which are currently under development.

NCSD is pleased to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Cue Health for its molecular diagnostic solutions for sexual health. The Cue Mpox (Monkeypox) Molecular Test received FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for use by authorized laboratories and in professional point-of-care settings. This nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) is run on a Cue Health Monitoring System (Cue Reader) using the Cue Health App on a compatible mobile device, can be performed at any CLIA-waived facility, and delivers results in 25 minutes, significantly expanding access to fast and accurate patient testing.
You’ll receive a Starter Kit which includes a Cue Reader (Cue Health Monitoring System) and 10 Mpox tests for each accepted clinic. All supplies are subject to availability of stock. The Cue Mpox (Monkeypox) Molecular Test has not been FDA cleared or approved, but has been authorized for emergency use by FDA under an EUA. This product has been authorized only for the detection of nucleic acid from monkeypox virus, not for any other viruses or pathogens. The emergency use of this product is only authorized for the duration of the declaration that circumstances exist justifying the authorization of emergency use of in vitro diagnostics for detection and/or diagnosis of infection with the monkeypox virus, including in vitro diagnostics that detect and/or diagnose infection with non-variola Orthopoxvirus, under Section 564(b)(1) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, 21 U.S.C. § 360bbb3(b)(1), unless the declaration is terminated or authorization is revoked sooner.
